The story
Two Nayikas share one veil — a handwoven tissue oṛhanā, nine-jewelled, from Divani’s ‘चाँद बीबी’ — and face opposite ways across a ground that burns from crimson into deep violet. One looks back, one looks ahead: the same soul, two lives.
